Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving regulatory standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for AI models across all product lines
- Create governance protocols for AI deployment in high-stakes industries (healthcare, finance, autonomous systems)
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineers, legal, and product teams
- Proactively identify emerging ethical risks in AI development and propose mitigation strategies
- Author public-facing transparency reports and stakeholder communications on AI ethics
- Mentor junior researchers on responsible AI development methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in AI ethics, governance, or responsible AI development
- Expertise in bias detection, fairness metrics, and interpretability techniques
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Strong technical aptitude with Python and ML model evaluation tools
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published research in AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership in the field
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design) preferred
