Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models
- Lead stakeholder engagements on AI ethics implications with regulators and industry bodies
- Design transparency protocols for AI decision-making processes
- Establish continuous monitoring systems for AI system compliance with ethical standards
- Create educational programs on responsible AI practices for technical teams
- Advise product teams on ethical design principles throughout development cycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, ethics, or compliance with tech companies
- Expertise in bias detection techniques and fairness metrics for ML models
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Experience with interdisciplinary teams (engineers, lawyers, policymakers)
- Published work or recognized contributions to AI ethics discourse
- Certification in AI governance or ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
