Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous decision systems
- Develop compliance protocols for emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and mitigation strategies
- Create transparency documentation for high-stakes AI applications
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI adoption
- Monitor global AI policy developments and adapt governance strategies
- Mentor engineering teams on ethical AI implementation practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Deep expertise in NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act frameworks
- Experience with bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Published research on algorithmic accountability or AI ethics
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
- Knowledge of quantum computing's ethical implications preferred
