Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving global regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models across domains
- Design governance protocols for AI lifecycle management from data sourcing to deployment
- Stakeholder engagement with legal, engineering, and executive teams to integrate ethical considerations
- Lead cross-functional working groups on responsible AI development practices
- Produce regulatory compliance documentation and audit trails for AI systems
- Stay current on emerging AI ethics research and regulatory developments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI ethics, governance, or responsible tech implementation
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Familiarity with global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, OECD AI Principles)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience conducting algorithmic impact assessments and risk modeling
- Certification in AI ethics or data governance (e.g., Certified AI Ethics Officer) highly desirable
