Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for 2026 product launches
- Lead bias mitigation strategies across machine learning pipelines and deployed systems
- Conduct algorithmic impact assessments and ethical risk audits
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycle
- Develop policies for responsible AI deployment in regulated industries
- Represent FutureWorks Labs in industry consortia and regulatory discussions
- Mentor cross-functional teams on ethical AI principles and implementation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field; PhD preferred
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics-focused tech role
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Experience conducting bias audits and algorithmic impact assessments
- Strong background in privacy-preserving ML techniques (differential privacy, federated learning)
- Proven ability to translate ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
