Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI governance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional audits of autonomous systems for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Develop ethical risk assessment protocols for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Collaborate with neurotech teams to establish consciousness detection protocols
- Author industry position papers on AI existential risk mitigation
- Mentor junior ethicists through our Future Leaders in Responsible AI program
- Represent Nexus at global AI ethics summits including OECD and UN forums
Qualifications
- PhD in AI Ethics, Philosophy, Cognitive Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years developing AI governance frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Published research on algorithmic bias or AI alignment challenges
- Deep expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 and EU AI Act compliance
- Experience with quantum computing ethics and neural lace implications
- Proven track record influencing national AI policy initiatives
- Fluency in ethical frameworks (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics)
- Strong background in risk modeling for emergent technologies
