Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce comprehensive AI ethics policies across all product development cycles
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI architectures
- Lead stakeholder engagements with regulators, industry bodies, and advocacy groups
- Establish governance protocols for AI deployment and continuous monitoring
- Create training programs on responsible AI practices for cross-functional teams
- Stay ahead of emerging regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks) and adapt compliance strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, Law, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, tech ethics, or compliance roles
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST, etc.)
- Proven experience developing ethical AI frameworks for commercial products
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts
- Certifications in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE, Partnership on AI) preferred
- Published work on AI ethics or technology governance a plus
