Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with NIST, EU AI Act, and emerging global standards
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems to identify bias, privacy risks, and compliance gaps
- Design governance protocols for generative AI, autonomous systems, and predictive analytics
- Advocate ethical considerations in product roadmaps and engineering specifications
- Establish stakeholder engagement strategies with regulators, academia, and industry coalitions
- Create training programs to build organizational literacy on responsible AI deployment
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and update governance policies proactively
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Deep expertise in AI ethics frameworks (e.g., IEEE 7000, ACM Code of Ethics) and regulatory landscapes
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI policies in tech or regulated industries
- Strong understanding of machine learning, data privacy, and algorithmic fairness principles
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change initiatives
- Certifications in AI ethics, data privacy, or governance preferred
