What you'll achieve:
• Develop enterprise-wide AI ethics policies aligned with evolving regulations
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement bias mitigation strategies
• Conduct algorithmic audits for fairness and accountability
• Represent Nexus at global AI governance forums
• Mentor data scientists on ethical AI development practices
Responsibilities
- Design and enforce AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits across machine learning pipelines
- Partner with legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Develop transparency protocols for high-stakes AI decisions
- Create incident response protocols for AI system failures
- Lead stakeholder engagement on AI ethics initiatives
- Author annual AI ethics impact reports
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, policy development, or responsible tech
- Expertise in fairness metrics, explainable AI (XAI), and bias mitigation
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management
- Published research in AI ethics or technology policy
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., IEEE, ACM)
