Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts to ensure proper approval.
- Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and schedule weekly and monthly payments via ACH and checks.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and maintain the general ledger.
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital AP filing systems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate with vendors.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
