Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage vendor relationships, including addressing inquiries and negotiating terms when necessary.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and send weekly payment batches to the finance team for processing.
- Assist with internal audits and provide documentation as requested.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
