Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices with a focus on accuracy and speed during weekend shifts.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain the AP sub-ledger, ensuring proper coding, coding accuracy, and timely posting.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice inquiries.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payments, including check runs and electronic fund transfers.
- Assist in the month-end close process and provide ad-hoc financial reports as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Proven experience working a weekend shift is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in AP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or BlackLine) is required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are essential.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
