Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and coding.
- Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfers, or checks.
- Maintain organized digital and physical AP filing systems.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing inquiries and status updates.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet strict deadlines.
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday shifts.
