Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions and vendor invoices weekly
- Conduct three-way matching and expense reconciliation for weekend operations
- Resolve payment discrepancies and maintain vendor communication records
- Generate weekly AP reports and financial statements for management review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize payment workflows
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Manage year-end closing activities and audit preparations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience with weekend shift exposure
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial details
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- AP/AR certification (CAPP or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with high-volume payment processing (1000+ invoices/month)
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of CA sales tax regulations and compliance requirements
