Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with proactive communication
- Manage weekend-specific payment runs and month-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on vendor contracts and payment terms
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Generate accounts payable reports for financial analysis and audit purposes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve payment discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (e.g., CAPP) is a plus
