Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, coding, and authorization.
- Maintain and update vendor master files and address information in the system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Prepare weekly aging reports and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist with internal audits and financial record-keeping compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve AP workflows and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- High level of attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
