In this pivotal role, you will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations, managing vendor relationships and streamlining our accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors.
- Maintain and update the vendor master database with accurate contact and banking information.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Perform data entry and reporting tasks using financial software.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in AP software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
