Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and purchase orders.
- Manage and maintain accurate vendor master data, including onboarding new vendors and updating terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and post payments via ACH, wire transfers, and checks while ensuring audit trails are maintained.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and aging reports.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and ERP systems to generate reports and analyze AP trends.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize AP workflows and improve process efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online or SAP (Sage preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors before they impact the financial statements.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent time management skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
