Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Manage the AP ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the financial system.
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly payments to vendors via wire transfer and ACH.
- Generate and analyze AP reports to assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical invoice documentation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and outstanding invoices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
