Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoice payments and expense reports within 24-hour turnaround
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Maintain accurate AP records in Oracle ERP system
- Coordinate with procurement team on 3-way matching protocols
- Prepare month-end closing reports and audit documentation
- Support tax compliance documentation for Texas state requirements
- Train on new AP automation tools during onboarding
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in high-volume environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Knowledge of Texas sales tax regulations
- Professional certification (e.g., CAPP) a plus
