Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain and update the AP aging report to ensure all outstanding balances are tracked.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding payment status and invoice queries.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare checks and electronic payments while ensuring proper documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
