As an AP Specialist, you will be the gatekeeper of our financial accuracy, ensuring all vendor invoices are processed efficiently and correctly.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before approval.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the accounts payable ledger and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Review and code expense reports and purchase orders.
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
