Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all approvals are obtained.
- Reconcile accounts payable accounts and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes as required.
- Utilize AP software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) to manage data entry and reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with AP automation software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
