Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and coding.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfers, or checks.
- Manage the AP subsidiary ledger and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential) and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors before they impact the ledger.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
