Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before processing payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including coding, batching, and remitting payments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and organized audit trails for all financial transactions.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding payment status.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
