Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices and ensure timely vendor payments through ERP systems
- Conduct three-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Resolve payment discrepancies and maintain vendor communication logs
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers and general ledger accounts monthly
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Implement process improvements to enhance payment efficiency
- Train junior staff on AP best practices and system protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- AP/AR certification (CAPP or similar) highly desirable
- Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Tipalti, Bill.com)
