Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions within 24-hour turnaround
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Optimize invoice processing workflows using SAP and QuickBooks
- Collaborate with procurement teams on payment terms and discounts
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and financial regulations
- Analyze aging reports and recommend process improvements
- Support month-end closing and financial reporting initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- CPA certification or relevant finance degree preferred
- Experience with daily pay platforms like DailyPay or Payactiv
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Texas state tax regulations and compliance
