Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within SLAs
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize payment workflows
- Maintain electronic and physical documentation for audit compliance
- Analyze vendor aging reports and implement process improvements
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Train new AP team members on system protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (3+ years AP)
- Advanced proficiency in SAP/Oracle ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with 3-way matching and PO validation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- Excellent communication for vendor negotiations and interdepartmental coordination
- Accounts Payable certification (CAPP) preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
