Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy of vendor information and payment terms
- Manage payment cycles including check runs, ACH transfers, and credit card payments
- Resolve discrepancies through vendor communication and reconciliation efforts
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documents
- Support month-end closing by preparing AP schedules and accruals
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOX regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Excellent attention to detail with high numerical accuracy
- Effective communication skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with 3-way matching and expense reporting systems
