Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process a high volume of invoices for payment in a timely manner.
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure 100% accuracy before payment.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and payment inquiries.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports regarding accounts payable aging and status.
- Update and maintain the accounts payable ledger and vendor master files.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of verifiable experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
