Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closings
- Process payroll with daily pay options for 200+ employees across multiple states
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and controls
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 a plus)
- Deep understanding of Missouri and Texas tax regulations and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with daily pay platforms like DailyPay or OnPay
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
