Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with strict adherence to deadlines
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate general ledger maintenance
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads
- Coordinate with auditors during financial reviews and tax season
- Implement and improve accounting processes using QuickBooks and Excel
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a professional setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
