Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
- Conduct internal audits and expense reviews to identify discrepancies and improve financial controls.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making by management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros).
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and resolve issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with stakeholders.
