Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll data to ensure accurate weekly pay cycles.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Process invoices, verify expenses, and manage bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings if required.
