Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Assist in budget development, variance analysis, and forecasting
- Collaborate with auditors and external stakeholders during financial reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Proven experience with audits and regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
