Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and provide support for external audits.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
