Responsibilities
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate and accounted for.
- Payroll Processing: Handle the processing and verification of weekly payroll for all department staff.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements and variance reports for management review.
- AP/AR: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and collecting outstanding payments.
- Compliance: Ensure all weekend financial activities adhere to internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Assistance: Provide support to the full-time accounting team during the transition from weekend to week operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify errors and ensure data accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
