Responsibilities
- Execute accurate month-end and year-end close procedures on a weekend schedule.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and variance reports for leadership review.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP standards and internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and tax documentation.
- Review and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Maintain accurate digital records and support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
