Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and maintain vendor/client relationships
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for weekend workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and budget analysis
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) to maintain digital financial records
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation for quarterly/yearly filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or public accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial controls
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience working independently in weekend or shift-based environments
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and team collaboration
- Relevant certifications (CPA, CMA) strongly preferred
