Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist in month-end closing processes and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain internal controls and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Support tax preparation and audit documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation strongly preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and financial reporting
