Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and reconcile bank transactions
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for departmental heads
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
- Maintain organized financial records using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Knowledge of California tax regulations
