Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekend payroll and reconcile employee timesheets
- Prepare month-end financial statements and closing entries
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with weekend transaction processing
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Maintain digital financial records using QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with weekend or shift-based schedules
