Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct internal audits to identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or CFA) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of federal tax regulations and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
