Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual external audits.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Process payroll and manage payroll tax filings accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or general ledger management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
