Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform accurate month-end and year-end closings.
- Assist with tax preparation, returns, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
