Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls, budgeting processes, and forecasting.
- Prepare budgets and variance analysis reports for management review.
- Assist in external audits and respond to inquiries from auditors and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
