Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks and perform account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with management to forecast budgets and track financial performance.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
