What You'll Do
As our Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing accurate data for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the annual budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax filings.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
