Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and fixed asset registers, conducting regular audits.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
