Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and identify variances for resolution.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to maintain the general ledger.
- Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions) and accounting software platforms.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a plus.
